Saturday 6th September - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods and warm.

Mag went on a sunrise walk while I was still asleep! Nice day at home, I did my exercises in the back garden and spotted a sun halo. There was a chance the build would build but it was still light around midday so we had ago at clearing out our garage before lunch in the garden. We then watched two games of rugby in the ladies world cup, Wales v Fuji followed by England v Australia. Australia started strong but faded as England improved and now face Scotland in the quarter finals! The wind was now 20 knots but too late for me so we walked to the local chippie and had sausage and chips in the Spa gardens sheltered from the breeze, just us and a few gulls, it was lovely. We then walked along the prom to the kiosk just short of the Fudyers hoping to see the full moon but it was behind cloud. Then up the hill past Harvest House and home, a nice day avoiding the crowds! Looking breezy tomorrow so hope to get out on the water somewhere?
